Poem

From the shores of the beach a young girl is wondering aimlessly and tirelessly and restlessly alone. A painfully haunting image . beauty she wears like a tired mask, slowly fading away from her, all while she walks the beach aimless, looking, searching, looking and searching. She walks on the sand and feels it smoothly under her feet , she walks to where the waves crash into the sands and feels her feet making a soft imprint in the sand . She smells the aroma of salt, sea, sand, wind and air . She closes her eyes, she feels the waves crashing into the sandy shores. She hears the Siren call of the ocean. The haunting sweet melody of the Sirens calm her down and lures her into the ocean waters. She drifts further into the deep sea, the waves carrying her. She awakes finding herself drowning but she relief as the waves consumes her and covers her whole. and as the songs of the Sirens calm her, they bring her to the boundless freedom of the depths where she be surrounded for eternity by the sweet voices of sirens and the smells of the aroma of the sea, salt wind and earth. boundless freedom with the ocean waves.

New Poem

The earth shakes and opens up.
It devours me.
the ground shatters and swallows me up
it sends me into the dark deep abyss
the abyss consumes me
no light
only darkness
only the abyss that devours me
darkness, no control , no voice.....
only the abyss

Darkness Poem

All I see is the  pitch black sky
clouding my  vision
like  volcanic ash
that spurs  in the  air
I see the   bottom of the ocean
I see darkness engulfing me
drowning me
luring me from my ship
like the sirens and mermaids of lore
that lure the sailors with their sweet
songs unto their death.
I hear the crashing waves
and feel the crushing weight of them
and sink deeper
into the  pit of blackness
of the  deep

I smell the  sweet sound of death
the rotting flesh
the strange taste of blood
I have the waters covering me
in murkiness of the sea.

I dream of land
a gloom land
were coyotes, wolves
wild dogs and  pit pulls
are surrounding me.
I run until I fall into the shadows
running into  woods
falling  into the dirt
climbing the trees
until  the  shadows of  death find me
and then they eclipse me  into obscurity
